Trained ICU Nurses
ICU nurses are highly trained Registered Nurses that work with patients who have life-threatening illnesses or conditions. They provide specialized experience, knowledge, and skills that patients need in order to survive or de-escalate care. Their patients receive intense interventions and require complex care. ICU nurses monitor patients, administer medications, assist patients with basic needs, chart care and respond to emergencies. Unlike some other nurses, their patients are often intubated, ventilated, and have multiple IV drips at a time.
